6 Steps to
Salvation
1.) Acknowledge
Romans 3:23 For all have sinned; all fall short of God’s glorious standard.
I John 1:8 If we say we have no sin, we are only fooling ourselves and refusing to accept the truth.
Luke 18:13b “God, be merciful to me, for I am a sinner.”
2.) Repent
Luke 13:3 … you will also perish unless you turn from your evil ways and turn to God.
Acts 3:19 Now turn from your sins and turn to God, so you can be cleansed of your sins.
3.) Confess
Romans 10:9-10 For if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by confessing with your mouth that you are saved.
I John 1:9 But if we confess our sins to Him, He is faithful and just to forgive us and to cleanse us from every wrong.
4.) Forsake
Isaiah 55:7 Let the people turn from their wicked deeds. Let them banish from their minds the very thought of doing wrong! Let them turn to the Lord that He may have mercy on them. Yes, turn to our God, for He will abundantly pardon.
5.) Believe
John 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life.
Mark 16:16 Anyone who believes and is baptized will be saved. But anyone who refuses to believe will be condemned.
6.) Receive
John 1:11-12 Even in His own land and among His own people, He was not accepted. But to all who believed Him and accepted Him, He gave the right to become children of God.
“Why not
make your eternal
decision right now?”
“Lord Jesus, I believe You died for my sins, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I receive You now as my personal Saviour, and invite You to be Lord of my life from this day forward. Amen”
